How to get to the Düsseldorf Oktoberfest from BOCHUM
By car
The journey from Bochum to Düsseldorf is quick and easy:
- Via the A40 or A52 in the direction of Düsseldorf.
- Parking facilities: Free parking on Heidelberger Straße.
- VIP parking spaces directly at the marquee (available by prior booking).
By train / ÖVP
You can reach Schützenplatz Eller quickly and easily from Bochum main station:
- RE1 or RE6 in the direction of Düsseldorf main station (journey time approx. 40 minutes).
- Change to the S6 in the direction of Köln-Nippes to Düsseldorf-Eller Süd (approx. 10 minutes).
- It is only a 5-minute walk (350 meters) from Düsseldorf-Eller Süd station to the marquee.
By long-distance bus
Long-distance buses will also take you comfortably to the Oktoberfest in Düsseldorf:
- Travel time from Bochum central station to Düsseldorf main station: approx. 50 minutes.
